Biography of Mrs. Donna L. Lane
Donna Louise (Cloyd) Lane was born on August 16, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri to Dr. & Mrs. Mason D. Cloyd.
Donna is a ‘cradle’ Catholic who has been intimately involved in the Church since grade school (pre-Vatican II) until now.
Donna is a world traveler and has lived in England, Japan, Florida, Maryland, and Michigan. She has also traveled to all of the fifty States as well as Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
For twenty seven years, Donna had been an Early Childhood Specialist, working with abused and neglected children and their parents, as well as a foster parent herself, to ten children. The past fourteen years Donna has been the Director of Religious Education for St. Alphonsus Liguori ‘Rock’ Church in St. Louis, Missouri.
Donna is a Certified Master Catechist and is well known for her beautiful and inspirational workshops and catechetical formation & training. She continues to be on faculty at the Institute for Black Catholic Studies at Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana where she teaches numerous courses on Catholic Theology, Black Presence in the Bible, as well as Who We are and Whose We are. Donna remains as an integral and dominant force within Qorban Ministries and all of its works.
Richard and Donna co-founded Qorban Ministries in early 2005 and were married in 2006.
